A report by the Climate Action Network Australia
(CANA), has found that climate change from greenhouse
pollution could mean that many of Australia's
flora and fauna face decline or extinction within our
lifetime.

The report, Warnings from the Bush, draws on 50
scientific studies and has been peer reviewed by the
CSIRO, and shows that many of Australia's ecosystems
and animals are under pressure because warming
temperatures and more extreme weather patterns are
changing their habitats.

I just got the above from Lawninfo and as life is full
of co-incidences, I settled back to read the latest
issue of Peninsula-Wide and about how my local council
is solving emission problems with street lighting
changes. Peninsula-Wide is a newspaper freely given
from my local council.

No bird chopping wind turbines for the Pen.
