Hi,

Just to confirm - the Red-necked Phalarope was still at hospital swamp
on Saturday 9 - relatively easy to see, next to the middle causeway (on
the Torquay Rd side), and on the opposite side to the house. I entered
in the hospital swamp track, and rang the owner just before I entered. A
wonderful bird to see, very graceful - it almost looked like a young
gull or tern swimming on the water. A loverly eye patch and a black
strip down it head. (And Like Stuart, this was a lifer for me - which
made my day!)

Also present (in the area next the private property, Geelong side) was
up to 12 Glossy Ibis as well as 2 Black-tailed Godwit - with the
distintive black tail and a slightly golden colour in the sun.

All the best,

Tim
