Dear Mike and all,

Following 2 weeks travelling around Liverpool Plains,
Barraba and the Taree district, mid-north NSW, notched
up the following swift sightings:

Barraba Sunday 27 January on property Myola 30 of so
KM south west of Barraba
30 28 79 150 22 49

1 Spine-tail and 1 Fork-tail, flew over low at dusk
Then a further fork-tail flew back - could have been
the same as earlier bird. Clear overhead but thunder
storms over ranges north and south of property.

Taree : centre town 10.30 am 31 January 2002
About 50 Spine-tail spirraled up over the Manning
River and vanished north-west over the city. Low cloud
and rain.

Then Saturday 9th February, on Birding NSW (previously
NSW FOC) weekend camp out, at Shoalhaven Heads
7 Mile Beach, around 25 flew over heading south-west.
Weather stormy, windy, showers.
