Hi all

Sorry if I either excited you or bored you beyond measure with my message
about the Little Eagle eating a Mitchells Hopping Mouse at Tyab. Birders
will have yawned, as this is not an unusual place for a Little Eagle -
probably just where you'd expect to see one. But our furry lovers are
probably still down there trying to find skeletal remnants as Mitchells
Hopping Mouse is apparently only recorded in the far NW of Victoria.

Seems my source was either having me on or his use of quotes (which I edited
out for some reason) around the mouse name was merely an example of irony
which went right over my head.

So don't go rushing off to the Mornington Peninsula after something exotic
- you've been led astray inadvertently. Shows how little I know about
furries.
