Hi Alan and all

A quick visit to the remaining waters off Lenaghan Drive near Pambalong
Nature Reserve ( just off the Sydney to Newcastle Freeway not long before
the end between Maitland and Newcastle NSW ). Scored 1 and probably 2
Freckled Ducks ( 1 had its head tucked under its wing ). Also around 10
Latham Snipe and several Sharp tailed Sandpipers, no Crakes as seen a
fortnight ago.

Cheers

> There are three Freckled Duck on Lake Sedgewick at Mount Annan Botanic
Gardens, Campbelltown New South Wales. they were first observed on Sunday
20 January 2002 and are still there today (21 January). They are acting like
all Freckled Duck and are trying to keep themself as far away from observers
as possible.
>
> There are also at least 6 Latham's Snipe around the front dam within the
Gardens.
