Hi Birding-aussers, took Niven McCrie and son Tom today down to Hastings Point, NSW to see Wandering Tattler. Successful, found 3 and pointed out the main points of difference from its more boring cousin.

However the bird of the day was found at Sleepy Hollow, just southwest of Pottsville NSW. As we were driving slowly in to the extinct golf course, an adult Bush-hen with 3 black downy young crossed the road in front of us! This was a NSW state tick for me (I'm a Queenslander) and has been well and truly Atlassed! Cheers - Paul Walbridge.
