Hi all

I do agree with Scott O'Keefe that Birding-Aus is a suitable forum for this
sort of discussion - but I would also like to thank Simon Mustoe for his clear
explanation of certain issues.

However, could I PLEASE request that before anyone starts to whip up this topic
in earnest again, that they read all that has been said before - it's all there
on the archive - go to the address in my signature block and click on ARCHIVE
then search for "Banding" or "Cannon" (netting). That should give you
something to get your teeth into, and hopefully avoid us going over too much
old ground in the same way.

Thanks

Russell
