Hi Birders, 

A few have requested further details on my button-quail sighting. I 
suspect that they are moving around a fair deal and given I saw 
them a week ago I'm not convinced people would have much luck. 
But in any case, the birds were seen at the corner of 65W Rd and 
Rowan Lane at the northern end of the farm.

There is a grassy ditch along 65W road running N/S, they were 
foraging along the edge of that. 

I ask that any birders in the area keep an eye out for any brown 
falcons which may be banded, adults have three colour bands and 
one silver service band, young birds generally only one colour and 
one silver service band.
