It's really getting out of hand with these Painted Snipes now, Doug Holly
rang me yesterday (and you've all read his email I guess) about a pair of
Painted Snipes at the Berri sewerage ponds. We went out there yesterday late
afternoon and I shot no less than 20 slides of the pair at 10-20 m distance
beautifully out in the open in full sunlight. Doug also got some video
footage.
Apparently they've never been reported from this part of SA before, does
anyone know more about that?

Cheers

Peter Waanders
