On holidays at present at the Muralug Hilton. 
Some Swift sightings:-
Heath Point, Muralug [Prince of Wales Is.] Torres 
Strait. Qld. 07.15 10 November 2001. Within 5Km 
10 36 03S 142 12 05E Alt. 150m 
Clear skies with a slight SE breeze.
6 White-throated Needletails travelling south 
down the coastline along with a large flock of 
Spangled Drongo's that were passing through in 
groups of 5 - 15 travelling south. Counted 
approx. 300+ in a 45 minute period before leaving 
the site.

Clear skies no breeze.
35+ Fork-tailed Swifts feeding at 5 - 20m above 
ground. Flock remained static for period of 
observation.
Been on the lookout for those tricky little 
Swiftlets armed with my video camera but no 
sightings at present on Muralug.
