Hi again Steve, & others,

I visited Banyule Flats late this morning for an hour or so but couldn't
find the Painted Snipe. That's not to say she isn't there though! Met
another birder, Dorothy Mahler, who saw the PS on Tuesday evening this
week about 6 PM when it flew over to the wetlands area. The water level
has dropped slightly from Tuesday morning when I last visited. My
consolation today was 5 Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos in a grove of
wattles. Celia
