A friend who is with the South West Enviro Centre has asked me to forward this on.

It has come to our attention that the intertidal wetlands at Spring and Marsh Street, Kogarah are to be filled in and a golf course to be built.

The present golf course is the site of an Industrial Park, (Cooks Cove Development), and the intertidal wetlands are to be filled and turn into a golf course.

Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority is carrying out the planning to fill in the three wetlands and DUAP is the consent authority.

I have been told that they do not require an EIS and SEE.

This is being pushed through by the NSW State Government.

Would like to hear from anyone who has any information regarding this development.
