Spoonbills collaboratively feeding

My recollection is that Royals very often feed by themselves BUT Yellow-billed are more frequently seen with a group of Royals.
In other words I rarely see Yellow-bills feeding alone.

My observations ahve been just the opposite. Yellow are common and Royal seen only occasionally, and generally with Yellows
