Hello all,
All the annual migrants that can be counted on in my area have finally
announced their arrivals. The Channelbills were the first in the last weeks
of September,Koel Cuckoos on 13th October,Blackfaced Monarchs on 19th
October and the last on the 21st October a Leaden Flycatcher and the
cheerful cackles of a pair of Dollarbirds.
I am hoping that we wont have a repeat of the almost total absence of
Needletails.I missed them last year----they certainly add to the birding
