Hi All,
The first Buff-breasted Paradise Kingfishers for the season were heard this
morning in the Barron Gorge National Park at Kamerunga (suburb of Cairns),
we heard them along with Carole and Andrew IIsles who migrated down from
Kingfisher Park for a few days.
Small parties of Spangled Drongos (10-20) are passing through, appearing to
be going south. Cattle Egrets have not been seen since last Saturday 13th
and it will be interesting if Jo Wieneke in Townsville reports them
returning to the colony there. The Grey and Rufous Fantails disappeared
about 2 weeks ago with only the odd Rufous hanging around.

Cheers,
Keith & Lindsay Fisher
