Dear all,
Just a quick note.

in Bundaberg City)..........
Spectacled Monarch....3rd home record...exactly the same
corresponding day of the first sighting in 1995
Black-faced Monarch....also 3rd record for home
Rufous Fantail...first for the season here
White-browed Scrub-wren....7 or 8 ...2 family groups...largest number
                                         at one time at home
Gerygones;Mangrove and White-throated
Honeyeaters;Lewins,Mangrove,White-throated,Brown,Little Friar,Noisy Friar
                    Blue-faced
Kingfishers;Sacred and Mangrove
Plus 25 others.

It seems the weather is changing at last to give us a little rain
from the very dry conditions...maybe got the birds going!
A Double-barred Finch which started nest building 2 mths ago
is back at the nest in our Lemon tree.........presuming it's the
same finch!

All the best,
Bill
