Your message came through dated Sunday, but I assume you went to look for the Pectoral Sandpiper yesterday, Saturday - because James & I went there today, Sunday, at the same time, and did not see any other birders.  Like you, we failed to find the Pectoral Sandpiper. It was raining gently and the area smelled vile from the very recent fire on the shore of the lake. We had plenty of time and a scope, so unless the bird was hidden elsewhere, I suspect it may have moved on. I did get my best view ever through the scope of a Little Grassbird.  It looked very sodden.

Dear All,

Greg Anderson, Richard Thomis and myself met at Pine Rivers Park this
morning a 6.20 ..... Pectoral Sandpiper....... alas, no show.

I would still be interested to hear if others see the Pect S/p there
after this morning.
