from Column 8 today in the Sydney Morning Herald...

City slickers think they've got problems with birds. Spare a thought for
Reg, a technician with Cowra Shire Council, who while working in a nature
reserve found that shiny bolts kept disappearing from his toolbox. His real
problem arose when his car and house keys disappeared. The suspected
culprit? A rather large emu. Graham Apthorpe, from the council, said Reg's
challenge was whether to let nature take its course to recover the keys - or
make other arrangements. A week later, the keys are still missing.
