Had an opportunity to visit Woodlands Historic Park again today,
after going to the airport. Toured the interesting house and a
ranger told me that the Eastern Barred Bandicoots seem to be
doing OK as several new animals were found recently.

Added a couple of species to the lists Lawrie Conole has posted:
Bell Miner and Banjo Frog (Limnodynastes dumerili), both from
the northern picnic ground.

And - how I hate saying this - I took a closer look at the
winter-plumage grebe there and I'm pretty sure it is a
Hoary-headed Grebe. So please ignore the "record" of
Australasian Grebe in my posting of 18 September 2001.
