We are having a good end to the Swift Parrot season in NSW with plenty of activity recorded recently.  I have been out on the south western slopes and had great success finding Swift Parrots between Wagga and Tumut in White Box and Ironbark.  In total, I recorded 153 Swift Parrots with the largest numbers (40) being near Adelong on the Snowy Mountains Highway feeding on fresh white box flower and at the southern end of Livingstone National Park feeding on Ironbark flowers.  So if you are in these areas (or any other areas with eucalypts in flower) keep your eyes and ears peeled!  If you do record any Swift Parrots or know of any good areas in flower I would love to hear about it so please call me on 1800 66 57 66.  Happy birding!
