Firstly congratulations to signing up to thee world's
best email list, Birding-Aus.

Nothing better I think.

Secondly when you ask the list a question could you be
a little more exact as to where you heard the call?

No need to say the town or city you live in but an
indication of the state or the loved country always

I've gone through my USA bird books (many) and I
assume you mean you heard the call in South West,
North Carolina? if you give me a little more time then
with the wealth of info I have I hope to be able to
help you give a good ID on this sound? it may not be a
