Just to correct Robert on comments he made in his posting on the 
Bribie I. plover:
Kentish Plover has been "officially" recorded once in Australia, in 
Darwin in November 1988 [Australian Bird Watcher 16(3) 91-5]
There was a dried corpse transported to Tasmania [B.O.A.T. 
Newsletter 19(2), 1-2]; there is a report from Leslie Saltworks, WA, 
April 1993 [Handbook of WA Birds Vol 1], and I have heard of 
another report from Darwin but there are scant details.
