A few days ago we found some young Brown Honeyeaters in a tree in the
front yard. We are not sure on their age, but it seems that they can
fly, but only short distances. It is enjoyable watching them and the
parent(s) feeding them. We have also found the nest in an adjacent tree,
it is only about 2 meters above the ground.

This is our first close up experience with birds breeding. It is good to
see these birds not only surviving but breeding in the suburbs.
