Hi All, Since returning from Hong Kong recently, I've been interested in the Melbourne population of the Red-whiskered Bulbul. I've looked through the archives and recent records include Clifton Hill station (1997), Ivanhoe (1998), Banyule (1999), Wilson Reserve/Chelsworth Park, Ivanoe (2001). Is there an established population 'epicentre' of the Red-whiskered Bulbul in this area? (Interestingly, in 1998 there was a report of a Crested Bulbul near the Botanical Garden in Melbourne. There are also historical records of Red-vented Bulbul in Melbourne?)
