Assist with tracking of released Helmeted Honeyeaters at Bunyip State Park.

As a part of the release program at Bunyip State Park, an understanding of the
birds movements away from the avaries needs to be gained. A radio tracking
program is being set up to track the birds that have been fitted with mini
transmitters
after the next release occurs. If you want to know more or can participate
on a regular basis email Jim Thomas on or give him a
call at Healesville Sanctuary on 5957 2800 (email prefered). Training and
equipment
provided.
