On Tuesday while watching a group of pied currawong's outside the local Secondary College library I noticed a very pale currawong. The darkest part was the bill, the rest was a fawny color with pale brown markings on the wings where they are usually white.  While it was sitting on the branch it looked like it was grey under its wing.  Although its head and bill were the right shape and size it wasn't until it sang that I was totally convinced that it was a currawong.
