In Ern Hoskin's book "The Birds of Sydney", he mentions a record of 75 Sooty Albatrosses off Sydney on 26 November 1983. This records is not only a late one, but sounds very extraordinary for this supposably rarely sighted bird off the east coast. Can anyone validate this record?
