Wattlebird behaviour

Steve Clark's description of the Red wattlebird's actions is mirrored
almost exactly (leaving aside the actual call) by Little wattlebirds,
which have been observed in this posture throughout the year but,( and
this is an impression only),  it occurs most frequently  as Spring and
the mating season approaches. We are on quite good terms with about four
of them.
