John is right that this virus (SirCam) is vicious. According to
my anti-virus provider - VET -it was intended to DELETE ALL
FILES on your hard drive. 

But INFECTED E-MAILS MAY APPEAR TO COME FROM ANYONE not just the
treated pine people mentioned by John.  I have had versions from
an individual, an estate agent... and understand one of our
major banks passed it on.

So more than ever:
DON'T OPEN ATTACHMENTS TO SUSPECT E-MAILS
GET ANTI-VIRUS PROTECTION AND UPDATE IT OFTEN
