Square-tld Kite in SEQLD

I recently spotted a pair of Square-tailed Kites on the Logan River near the South-east Freeway. Is this a regular area for these birds or is it likely to be a pair that is on the move? Does anyone know the nearest resident pair to this spot?

Any input from locals would be greatly appreciated.
