Some ticks are easier than others. 9am Thursday 21 June. Agitated calls from all the usual suspects in the gum trees 4 meters from my back door.  Looked out to see which raptor was visiting.  4 meters from the ground on a bare branch in full sunlight  --  a powerful owl. Stayed put for 10 minutes  then I had to go.
