Julie,

There were about 200 banded stilts at Lake Victoria, also called
Lonsdale Lakes, in Point Lonsdale last week (they were there on Tuesday
and Friday). Access is via Emily Street which is off Fellows Road.
Fellows Road is the first street on the right as you enter Point
Lonsdale on the Bellarine Highway. Go down Emily Street and keep
straight on near the end where the road swings round to the right.
You'll come to a small parking where you'll find a path heading west
into the reserve. The stilts were feeding on both sides of the path
about 200m from the parking area.

Good luck,

Ian
