Hi David and others involved in the survey

On the   weekend  prior to the survey Euan Fothergill and I checked out 
Sedgewick State Forest [near Bendigo in Victoria] for swift parrots and saw one 
foraging in a yellow box. We also saw purple-crowned lorikeets, rose robin and 
painted button-quail.

At the beginning of the month I saw approximately 30 swift parrots fly overhead 
while I was birding near Lake Eppalock [also near Bendigo in Victoria].
