The Australian today (22/5/01) carries an appropriately concerned article
on page 9 with the headline "Family tree looking grim as apes die out". But
next to it is a photo with the caption "Apes such as this silvertail
gorilla face extinction". Presumably it lives in the Collins St end of its
forest! Of course they meant silverback, but this describes the state of
older males, and not a species.
