Yes, you have to get out of your car to appreciate them.  You do tend to
miss a lot while blasting along the highway at 110 km/hr.

Part of the boredom is also a result of long straight roads that
facilitate high speed driving.  I can't say that I found driving along
the great central road from Laverton to Giles boring for all of the
mulga I drove past.

The bottom line is that at the right time of year, it wouldn't be more
than 60% boring!!!  [Besides, Esperance to Busselton shouldn't be boring
at anytime of year].
