2 Caspian Terns, one of which had a red leg band were seen at Ricketts Point in Beaumaris, thanks Alex Farias

Does anyone know who is banding Caspians with red? Or was it possibly an orange Victorian flag? (Clive Minton is away for a few weeks, so I can't ask Clive.)

Hi Jill,

I have since communicated with Alex who tells me that two terns were banded on Mud Island in Port Philip Bay last year, one of which was reported in Queensland, the other was the one seen by Alex.

Regards,

Stuart
