Hi all/ The yellow tipped ssp.of the Striated Pardalote
arrived at my home last week end from Tassie, and we saw another at Catti
NP on the NSW FOC outing on Saturday, together with Rose Robins. Bassian
Thrush is calling at dawn, and I have two male Lyre Birds both which favour
the "pseet you" call of the Wedge-tailed Eagle. There is a CattleEgret inthe
Sackville/Wilberforce area
with two wing tags, this is only the second sighting of a tagged Egret I
have recorded in the Sydney area. The Square-tailed Kite was at Wilberforce
last Thursday morning.

When you next visit Pitt Town Lagoon please take some time to fill in a
records form which you will find in a metal box adjacent to the NPWS sign.
Cumberland Bird Observers Club have provided the box and forms and will
ensure that the records are entered into a data base.
All that is needed is to tick the appropriate boxes.
