Hi Reg
Usually hire dinghies are pretty good. Just make sure you've got two
paddles and a mobile phone!

if you do hire a dinghy and have some choice go when the tides are neap.
It's easy to get swamped while travelling with the tide in little
estuaries. Also if you decide to explore small estuaries (the big ones
are okay) just make sure you know where you are by marking the trees in
some way.

Sue, Valda and Harmony bought their saviour several rounds of drinks at
the local pub.

Your tale of the sandwich-stealing ibis had me in fits. At Howard
Springs the ibis behave similarly. However their manners are impeccable
compared with some creatures. They never snatch!
