A group of 13 birders from the Gold Coast spent Monday, Tuesday and
Wednesday on the Darling Downs of South East Queensland. Un fortunately I
was unable to accompany them because of ill health.

The reason for this posting is that I was informed this morning that the
Painted Honeyeaters were sighted at the reliable site near Jandowae. I have
provided details of this site in the past but if anyone is heading that way
and is not aware of where to look, contact me directly.
