> Dropped into the Point Cook bird hide today - and came across a flock of
10 Crested Pigeon near the car park at the bird hide. This is easily the
farthest south I've seen them - what is the status of CP in the Geelong
district?

They're regular at Werribee and Sunbury now, and I even saw one in Northcote
recently. They're moving south with a vengeance, and I predict they'll be a
common neighbourhood bird within the next decade throughout large parts of
Melbourne.
