This is Birdline NSW updated 27.3.01. There are up to 7 Turquoise Parrots at

turn off near the Reduce Speed Sign. Also seen there yesterday was Glossy
Black Cockatoo, White-throated Needletail, Brush Bronzewing and
Bar-shouldered Dove.

On the Wollongong pelagic on the 24th highlights were excellent views of
Streaked Shearwater and White-necked Petrel. There were 10 Double-banded
Plovers, 60 Pacific Golden Plovers and 10 Red-capped Plovers at Port Botany
on the 25th. At Mt. Keira Lookout there were two Gang Gang Cockatoos and two
Bassian Thrush on the 24th.

At Lady Carrington Drive, Royal National Park there were 20 Brown
Cuckoo-doves and Pilotbirds showing well on the track. There was a Latham's
Snipe at Mason Park on 25th.

Other reports include a Sooty Oystercatcher at La Perouse, Beautiful
Firetail at Winifred Falls, calling Koels at Turramurra till the 21st, Rock
Warblers at Deep Creek, Narabeen, White-bellied Sea-eagles over Darling
Harbour, over 50 WT Needletails over Lithgow on 24-25th with a Spotted
Quail-thrush 15 km W of Guildford (on the Mudgee Road).

Small numbers of Cspian Terns have been seawatched off Mistral Point this
month with two Lewin's Rails calling near the South Maroubra Surf Life
Saving Club this week. Finally today I had a Topknot Pigeon at Taronga Zoo.
