Tracey,
Don't imagine, inform yourself !
The fact that waders do return to the same location annually after being banded
and flagged is exactly the point !
Your comments boggle the mind ?!?!

Hello again birding friends
I strongly disagree with cannon netting and concur with remarks by Peter
Cheuwon. If I see a large flock of waders i am very careful who I tell. I
don't want to associate with cannon netters and I fear some will try and
catch or band our birds!
I cant imagine what happens to them after they have been cannon netted. We
know a swamp nearby where large flocks of Black-tailed Godwits congregate at
this time of the year. Would they come back to the same place if they were
cannon netted or would they be frightened off to a less favorable place
never to return?
