Hi All,

A quick posting. Last night my neighbour came across excitedly to say
he had yesterday seen his second Red Goshawk ever. Some of you may
know him, Graham Chapman, for his bird photography, especially in the
area of dryland grasswrens. The bird was seen during the afternoon,
and was on the Bruce Highway near the Ettamogah Pub, which is between
Caloundra and Maroochydore, but inland from both. He had good views
of the bird, and said the underwing pattern was unmistakable. What
set me going was that Graham had wanted me to come with him yesterday
afternoon, and I had refused because I had a meeting, damn it.

Graham & Pam called in here for a cuppa on their way south last
winter. I abused them for always hitting and running, and so they
stayed a couple of days - and bought the house across the road!

Cheers,

Jill
