There are Atlassers in the Top End who have not been birding very long,
and know few but the common local birds and even fewer of the calls.
Some have difficulty identifying egrets from each other and can't tell
the difference between birds such as Olive-backed Oriole and Figbird or
Pied and Silver-backed Butcherbird. I can't see many of them being able
to tell gerygones apart.
