Hi all,

Went for a brief stroll on sundown last night - about half an hour, and
was entertained by male and female
Aust Hobby hawking for insects, doing 360 degree loops around me and
generally annoying the ducks -
it was interesting to note the ducks quickly "ducking" their heads as
the Hobby swept low along the water!.
Other birds noted: a group of 4 Black Faced Cuckoo Shrikes,a passing
Long Billed Corella,Grey Butcherbird singing its heart heart out,4
foraging Black Winged Stilts,the usual wary Willie Wagtails,a lone
Pacific Heron as well as most of the usual
suspects.But the Hobbys were a delight to watch.
