Hi everyone,
had a few hours birdwatching at Western Treatment Plant on Port Phillip
Bay in Victoria on Friday the 19th. Spent about 3 hours at the T
section Lagoons/Austin Rd area where the Lesser Yellowlegs was seen a
week ago but could find neither it nor any Marsh Sandpipers. Still some
interesting birds including

Black-tailed Godwit (2)
Sharp-tailed Sandpiper (100s-1000s)
Curlew Sandpiper (100s)
Red-necked Stint (100s-1000s)
Common Greenshank (2)
Red-capped Plover
Black-winged Stilt
Banded Stilt (4-500)
Red-necked Avocet
Whiskered Tern (10-20)
White-winged Black Tern (at least 1 but probably more)
Golden-headed Cisticola
Striated Fieldwren
Brown Falcon (didn't notice a leg band)
Swamp Harrier

Also had a look at Kirk Point and added

Crested Tern
Common Tern (1) (embarrassingly my first sighting of this species)
Pacific Golden Plover (5)
Australian Pelican
Little Black Cormorant
Pied Cormorant

Best Wishes
John Boyce
