Gooday all,
While at Muralug (Prince of Wales Is.) Torres Strait, Queensland I had the
following observation of Magpie Geese Anseranas semipalmata flying south.
5 Dec. 2000 09.40
Flock size was approx. 70 and travelling in a southerly direction towards
Cape York. It was my contention that the birds were travelling from New
Guinea to Australia and possibly heading for the Jardine Swamps and further
south.

9 Dec. 2000 20.15
Heard a large flock of Magpie Geese flying overhead at night unable to give
an indication of numbers. Full Moon.
