Hi John,
We are in the library in Echuca this afternoon. It is
a great place to spend the hot afternoon. We are
drinking lots of water.
We are booked on two boats tomorrow. We will take an
hour ride on the Murray River on a paddlesteamer
called "The Pride of the Murray" and then we will go
for a cruise in the Barmah Wetlands on the
"Kingfisher".
That's a two hour cruise through a redgum forest.
Still don't have bird number 450. Didn't find the
Gang-gang Cockatoo at Badger Weir or Toolangi or the
Pink Robin at Toolangi. We did see Yellow Rosella here
in Echuca but since they are a sub-species of Crimson
Rosella that's not a full tick either. A very nice
locale all the same. Maybe there will be a Freckled
Duck in Barmah Wetlands.
