Hello Robert,

I haven't seen any replies to you so far.

As a member of Birds Queensland you should have a copy of the <Birds Queensland
Directory>. If you have missed out please contact Peter Crow. On Page 1.11 of
the
Directory you will find the Birds Queensland "Code of Conduct". This is an
excellent distillation of the collective experience of many ethical birders. I
highly recommedn it.

The "Code of Conduct" in The Directory is followed on Page 1.12 with "Excursion
and
Campout Code".

Also, in the Birds Queensland library I have several pages photocopied from
"Winging
It" the Newsletter of the American Birding Association, Inc. Volume 8, No. 3
(March
1996). This contains an article called "The New ABA Code of Ethics: The Last
Draft." This Code was carefully scrutinised by the Birds Queensland Council
before
finalising our own Code of Conduct. The ABA Code is followed by a discussion.
If
you contact me privately I shall photocopy the 4 pages and post them to you.
(Sorry
my scanner is not hooked up at present).

Regards,
Ros Laundon
_________
Birds Queensland Librarian.
