This is probably no help but Moore park ,north of Bunderberg (a suburb?) is\was a regular spot for them. When we were visiting friends there a few years ago they had them visiting their garden regularly,although I did'nt get that "tick" of course. When I told them that they were endangered they exclaimed "No wonder, they keep on killing themselves when they fly into our windows!"

p. s. Maybe we should ban windows as well as cars, etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.!
